📖 About

At 828 metres and 163 floors, the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest building in the world since 2010 — and no photo prepares you for standing under it. The At The Top experience takes you up one of the world's fastest elevators (10 metres per second) to the observation decks on levels 124 and 125, where floor-to-ceiling glass gives you a 360° sweep over the city, the desert and the Gulf.

The premium SKY experience adds level 148 at 555 metres — the highest outdoor observation deck on the planet — with smaller crowds, a dedicated lounge, and guided telescope views. On a clear day you can see the coastline curve and, at sunset, watch the city switch on beneath you.

Entrance is inside The Dubai Mall, so combine your visit with the mall, the Dubai Aquarium and the Dubai Fountain show at the base of the tower — the fountain fires every 30 minutes in the evening and is free to watch.

⭐ Highlights

  • Levels 124/125 observation decks with 360° views
  • SKY experience — level 148, the world's highest outdoor deck
  • One of the world's fastest elevators (about 60 seconds to the top)
  • Dubai Fountain show at the base — free, every 30 min in the evening
  • A Falcon's Eye View interactive screens on the deck

💡 Insider Tips

  • Sunset slots sell out days ahead and cost more — book online early; the cheapest tickets are early morning or late night.
  • Arrive 30–45 minutes before your slot; security and elevator queues eat time.
  • Haze is common in summer afternoons — mornings usually have clearer air for photography.
  • For the classic photo OF the tower, head to the Souk Al Bahar bridge or Palace Downtown lake promenade.
