📖 About

Khor Al Beidah is the wild flank of UAQ: a broad tidal lagoon of sandspits, seagrass and mudflats where flamingos, crab plovers and herons feed, and the "beach" is whatever bar the tide has uncovered — raw, changeable and beautiful.

It's a place for wanderers rather than swimmers: shell-strewn flats at low water, kayak lines through the channels at high, ospreys overhead and dugong-and-turtle stories in the seagrass beyond. Development plans circle this coast; see it while it's still nature's.

⭐ Highlights

  • Wild tidal lagoon — flamingos and waders
  • Shell-covered sandbars at low tide
  • Kayak channels through seagrass and spits
  • The UAE coast, pre-development edition

💡 Insider Tips

  • Check tides: flats for walking low, channels for paddling high.
  • Mud is real — barefoot or sacrificial shoes.
  • No facilities, no shade: expedition rules apply.
