📖 About

Lima Rock is the region's serious dive brag: a limestone islet plunging into the strait with wall dives, coral gardens, reef sharks, rays, turtle traffic and — in season — whale-shark and mobula visits riding the nutrient currents of Hormuz.

Snorkellers work the shallower fringes on calm days while divers do the walls; either way the drama is the setting — birds wheeling off the cliffs, dolphins on the transits, the mountains of two nations standing around the sea.

⭐ Highlights

  • Wall diving on the strait's currents
  • Sharks, rays and seasonal pelagics
  • Snorkel-able fringes on calm days
  • Musandam's marquee marine site

💡 Insider Tips

  • Book with established Dibba/Khasab dive operators — currents demand competence.
  • Snorkellers: calm-day trips only; ask honestly about conditions.
  • Bring certification cards; sites are graded.
