Al Sufouh Hidden Beach
The quiet continuation of Dubai's secret shore — dunes, driftwood and Palm views
A secret cove between royal palaces — no kiosks, no crowds, pure coastline
Hidden between the walled compounds of royal palaces on Al Sufouh Road, Black Palace Beach is the hidden gem of the Dubai coast — a raw, undeveloped stretch of white sand with the Burj Al Arab shining down the shore in one direction and the Palm's towers in the other.
There is nothing here: no sunbeds, no kiosks, no music, and usually only a scattering of photographers, couples and residents in the know. That absence is the entire luxury. The shallow entry and clear water make it a lovely swim, and driftwood and dune grass give it a wildness unique in the city.
Because it's unserviced, it's also unguarded — swim sensibly, pack out everything you bring, and treat the palace walls with respect (no drones here; this is sensitive airspace).
