Black Palace Beach (Al Sufouh)
A secret cove between royal palaces — no kiosks, no crowds, pure coastline
The quiet continuation of Dubai's secret shore — dunes, driftwood and Palm views
Past Black Palace Beach, the undeveloped Al Sufouh shore continues — low dunes, sea grass and long empty sand with the Palm Jumeirah skyline floating across the water. Construction hoardings and palace walls have kept this coastline off the market and off the map, which is why locals guard its name.
It's functionally a wilder twin of Black Palace: the same raw character, often even fewer people, and the best sightline toward the Palm and Marina towers rather than the Burj Al Arab. Kite photographers and sunrise swimmers are the main regulars.
Development is slowly nibbling at this stretch, so enjoy it while it lasts — beaches like this, ten minutes from the Mall of the Emirates, shouldn't be possible.
