Ain Dubai
The world's largest observation wheel — 250 metres over Bluewaters Island
Boutique waterfront shopping with superyachts parked outside the door
Dubai Marina Mall is the neighbourhood antidote to the mega malls: around 140 stores on four manageable levels, opening directly onto the Marina Walk promenade where superyachts idle a few metres from the café terraces.
The shopping is solid mid-range-to-premium, but the real reason to come is the setting. Dhow and yacht cruises leave from the pier right outside, the waterfront dining strip wraps around the building, and at sunset the Marina's tower skyline lights up around you on all sides.
It works best as the anchor of a Marina evening: browse the mall, take the 7 km Marina Walk loop (or just the best stretch toward JBR), then dinner on the water. If you're staying in the Marina or JBR, this becomes your daily mall.
