Kalba Waterfall
A seasonal cascade hidden in the Kalba mountains — chase it after rain
"Sweet valley" — watchtower ruins and rock pools on the old Kalba road
Wadi Al Helo — "sweet water valley" — was the caravan route between Sharjah and the east coast for centuries, and its restored watchtower still guards the pass above old village ruins, palm plots and a seasonal streambed of smoothed rock.
After winter rain, the wadi's upper bends hold clear rock pools that hikers chase — the 💎 version of the visit — while the tower, ruins and roadside falaj reward even a leg-stretch stop on the Kalba drive.
The site carries UNESCO-tentative status for its Bronze Age copper-era archaeology; the deeper history is literally underfoot.
