The Gulf is a giant, warm, flat playground — which is why watersports here run all year and suit total beginners. Jet ski tours are the headline act (the skyline-backdrop photos are real), with parasailing, flyboarding, wakeboarding, kayaking and paddleboarding filling out the menu. Everything includes gear and a briefing; most spots include lifeguard cover.

Jet ski "tours" follow a guide along a set route past the landmarks — you don't need any licence or experience. Kayaking and paddleboarding are the budget entries and just as photogenic, especially the LED night-kayak versions.
