📖 About

With around 1,200 shops across the floor area of 200 football pitches, The Dubai Mall isn't just the biggest mall in the city — it's the most visited shopping destination on the planet, drawing more visitors per year than New York City. Every global brand is here, from high-street to haute couture along the indoor Fashion Avenue.

But shopping is honestly half the story. Inside you'll find the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo with its 10-million-litre tank, an Olympic-size ice rink, the VR Park, a three-storey indoor waterfall, and the candy-coloured Chinatown zone. Directly outside: the Dubai Fountain, firing choreographed shows every 30 minutes each evening against the Burj Khalifa.

Treat it as an attraction, not an errand. Pick one anchor (aquarium, At The Top entrance, Fashion Avenue), plan food around the fountain shows, and use the mall map app — first-timers genuinely get lost.

⭐ Highlights

  • Around 1,200 shops including the indoor Fashion Avenue
  • Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo — the giant tank is free to view from the concourse
  • Dubai Fountain shows outside, every 30 min in the evening
  • Olympic-size ice rink, VR Park and the indoor waterfall
  • Direct access to Burj Khalifa At The Top and Souk Al Bahar

💡 Insider Tips

  • Friday–Saturday evenings are extremely crowded; weekday mornings are a different mall.
  • Parking fills up on weekends — the metro walkway is genuinely faster.
