The desert safari is the one experience nearly every visitor books, and for good reason: dune bashing in a 4x4, sandboarding, camel rides, a sunset that looks fake, then a camp evening of BBQ, shisha and live shows. Evening safaris are the classic; morning safaris suit families and photographers; overnight versions add stargazing and sunrise.

Pickup is around 2:30–3:30 PM for evening safaris, with return by 9:30–10 PM. The dune-bashing section is genuinely thrilling — skip lunch right before, and tell your driver if you'd prefer a gentler ride. Camps range from standard shared setups to private VIP tables with premium menus.
